Cancer is never easy; for family, for friends, for a spouse, for the children both young and old. When it is a rare terminal cancer it's even harder.  You are given a timeline.  Paul A. DeCarlo had a large family and circle of friends who still wish he was here today. Paul had developed a rare, terminal brain cancer and sadly moved on at the young age of 46. His partner in his cousin Carmine's wedding was Jean Tyrrell (Kaminski). Years after Paul, Jean developed the same cancer. Jean's life was shared by her husband, her three children, her family.and friends.  She, too, passed on at the young age 55.
On the day of Jean's passing, the Purple Angels came to Terry DeCarlo, guiding her to start this foundation. Because there was no place to find last wishes easily for those in a certain age group like Paul and Jean- so PAF came to be so those in the middle would not be left out again.
